Worker Justice and Economic Edification for All

There are far too many using the execrable material conditions of poor and working class people to benefit themselves. These bad actors are taking the people's money and rendering it into money for CERTAIN people while keeping CCD2 Impoverished. The people have a right to know what's happening with their money, which is why I will request a line item audit of all funds distributed by LB 1024, the Economic Recovery Act.

To the extent possible and appropriate; require the use of unionized workforce for all of the City's construction and maintenance needs. 

Childcare costs are out of control forcing working class parents to make the difficult decision of holding a job or providing care for their children. We must develop and implement a City-wide, universal free pre-K childcare program by 2030 - utilizing the amazing child care businesses in CCD2 and throughout the city. 

Increase the number of unionized workers and workers in Omaha represented by a union to 10% by 2028. 

Ensure that at least 40 percent of Medical Marijuana sales directly benefit communities and individuals disproportionately and adversely impacted by the fallacious and “war on drugs.”

Protect the right of Public Employees to collectively bargain and allow them to enroll in a Deferred Retirement Option Plan.

Institute a program to train soon to be returning citizens in construction, electric, and renewable energy, and other  trades so there are certified and unionized jobs waiting for them on day one of their re-entry.
